Kalahari ResortsWow! If you are looking for wow factor Kalahari has it.  From your first impression entering their main lobby, the size of their operation and to the nuance and careful thought that goes into their day to day operations.  This all attributes to their mission of providing products and services beyond expectations.

Kalahari Resorts is the second largest hotel and convention center in the PA, behind the Philadelphia Convention Center.  But, the Philadelphia Convention Center does not have the wow factor of the African themed waterpark.  Which, is currently the largest indoor waterpark in the United States of America. Upon entering Kalahari’s main lobby, it become immediately apparent that this is a destination location catered to families.

Kalahari’s idea is to get your family to their resort early to take advantage of enjoying their facility for the entire day.  Don’t concern yourself with check in times.  The staff will allow you to unload and begin to unwind immediately and when your room is ready they will let you know.  Kalahari puts their customers first, right out of the gate, by allowing them to maximize their time experiencing what they have to offer. And oh boy, do they have a lot to offer.

Most notably Kalahari is a massive indoor waterpark.  With indoor and outdoor pools, slides and swim up bars there is something for everyone at every turn of the corner.  This is all made possible by staying abreast to industry trends and utilizing some of the industry’s most innovative technologies to filter and conserve water.   Kalahari employees state of the art water filtration, pumps and mechanical systems.  This not only provide a cleaner environment internally and externally, but also helps Kalahari manage costs most efficiently.

Kalahari’s most important resources are its employees.  Without laundry service, dishwashers or room cleaning the facility would not function. It can be common place for these functions to be overlooked but Kalahari is clearly focused on the importance of these employees and their contributions to their success.  These employees are the foundation that allows them to provide more alluring resort activities.

Spa service, dining facilities and convention centers tie into the waterpark nicely allowing for business clientele to conduct business and entertain without being disturbed by the pool party.  However they are still connected enough that if they wanted to join the party, they are already there.  Further pronouncing the African theme, you can find memorabilia, artwork and furnishings all from the motherland, including a truly fascination and artistic homage to Nelson Mandela.

Touring Kalahari Resort in Mt. Pocono, PA provides a great appreciate for a family owned and operated business that is bursting with success.  The family that started it all continues to stay involved with each of these locations.  They have a formula that works, and they are on a continual pursuit to enhance their customers experience at every opportunity they get.
